The Waiting Home

From here to there 

   is not so far,

     about the same

        as there to here,

          but still a ways

for those going.

Both here and there

   are at the ends

      of know not where

        which is what waits

          for those who dare

to walk the way.

  

The way left here

    long time ago,

      long ago enough

        to make unseen

          where here has been

held in the heart.

Here is now there

   and there is there

     where the way goes

       beyond the veil

         which makes unseen

the waiting Home.
