From Here to There

Not a long way,

   but long enough,

      too far for some,

        is the journey

from here to there.

Abraham went. 

    as did Moses, 

      Peter and John

        always walking

the wherever road.

From here to there,

    no mile markers, 

      no time clocks, 

        it is the road

not measured.

The road of going,

     not the one 

       about arriving,

         instead the one

of abandonment.
