The Light

Light of all light,
Light before any light,
Light unending,
   destroying darkness,
   making shadows,
Light of the "I Am,"
Light of the world.

Light of Bethlehem,
Light of joy,
Light of hope,
    illuminating,
    enlightening ,
Light of now,
Light of then.

Light of brilliance,
Light of softness,
Light incomparable,
    Visible like fire,
     Invisible like wind,
Light that is coming.
Light that has come.
