What I Know

What I know is,
  well,...better.
  I know better
  than to ask
  those questions
  that start, "Why?"

To ask them 
   is to play
   what I know
   to be a game
   known as
   "Endless Pursuit."

But, still I ask
   why...not sure.
   Maybe it is
   to be honest
   with myself,
   You, as well.

"Why, Lord? Why?"
   Not listening,
   at least not long.
   This I learned
   when asking "Why?"
   so long ago.
