Soon

Here, but, not here.
   Coming soon, not today,
   maybe tomorrow,
   and if not,
   then the next day,
   or maybe the next.
But, surely soon.

Not then, but when.
    Not if, but surely,
    the hour unknown,
    but known by Him,
    the One who sends,
    and waits.
Soon will come soon.

Delaying, but coming.
    Those waiting wonder,
     even guess,
     still in the dark,
     waiting on that day
     when the Light shines,
On that day, but not today.
