When I first came to this place,
When I first came to this time,
I heard God say deep within,
"Pay Attention."
A Word clearly spoken,
A Word clearly heard,
A Word immediately understood
a Word from Him.
It was a voice without sound
A voice not heard with ears,
A voice from the silence,
the Holy Voice.
Something never doubted,
Though not always heeded,
Always out there, speaking
"Pay Attention."
